To change the processing date for a recurring gift, you will need to contact the specific organization you are supporting. They manage their own donation schedules and will be happy to assist you with the adjustment.

How to Contact an Organization:
  • Open Support: In the Bridgely app, select Contact Support.
  • Choose Your Topic: Tap on Questions about Donations?
  • Select the Ministry: If you support multiple causes, a list will appear. Simply select the organization you wish to contact to view their details.

Connecting with your sponsored child is at the core of what we do. You can easily view your full message history and check for new updates directly within the app.

To View Your Messages:
  • Go to Your Profile: Open the Bridgely app and navigate to your profile page.
  • Find Your Causes: Look for the My Causes section, where all your active sponsorships are listed.
  • Open the Conversation: Tap on your sponsored child’s picture.
  • View History: You will be taken to the Conversation Page, where you can read all sent and received messages, view photos, and see the latest updates from your child.

We understand that circumstances change. Because Bridgely prioritizes healthy intercultural relationships, we view the end of a sponsorship as a relationship transition rather than just a transaction cancellation.

Steps to Cancel
  • Navigate to your Profile: Open the “Profile” tab in the app.
  • Manage Payments: Select Settings, then tap Payment Methods.
  • Select the Cause: Tap on the specific sponsorship you wish to end and select “Cancel.”

The Importance of Saying Goodbye
The Bridgely environment is built on mutual respect. To honor the bond you’ve built, we give you the opportunity to send a short goodbye video for your sponsored child after confirming your cancellation.

Why a video? In a healthy relationship, closure matters. A brief message helps the child understand that while the formal sponsorship is ending, the connection you shared was meaningful. It ensures they aren’t left wondering why the communication stopped.

You can find all the causes that you financially support by logging into Bridgely and navigating to your profile page. You will then see all the causes you support listed under My Causes.

You can access and download receipts for any specific transaction directly through your profile.

  • Go to your Profile: Open the Bridgely app and tap on your profile icon.
  • View Payment Methods: Select Payment Methods from the menu.
  • Select the Cause: Tap on the specific cause or sponsorship you’d like to view.
  • Access Invoice History: Scroll to the bottom of the page to find your Invoice History.
  • Download: Click on any individual transaction to view and download both the receipt and the invoice.

Bridgely makes it easy to stay organized for tax season. You can download IRS-compliant annual statements directly through our secure portal.

Steps to Download:
  • Open your Profile: In the Bridgely app, go to your profile and tap Settings.
  • Access Tax Receipts: Select Tax Receipts. This will securely route you to the Bridgely website.
  • Sign In: Use the same login credentials (email and password) you use for the Bridgely app.
  • Download: Once logged in, you can view and download your end-of-year statements for your personal records.

Keeping your contact information up to date ensures you never miss an update from the causes you support.

To Update Your Information:
  • Open your Profile: Tap your profile icon in the bottom right corner of the Bridgely app.
  • Edit Profile: Under Settings, select Edit Profile.
  • Update Details: Enter your new phone number or email address in the provided fields.
  • Save Changes: Be sure to save your updates before exiting.

I Have Two Separate Accounts By Mistake. Can These Be Merged?

Yes! If you accidentally created two accounts – one using your phone number and another using your email – you can easily merge them into a single profile.

How to Merge Your Accounts:
  • Log Out: Sign out of the Bridgely app.
  • Log In via Phone: Sign back in using your phone number.
  • Access Your Profile: Tap the profile icon in the bottom right corner and select Edit Profile.
  • Add Your Email: Enter the email address associated with your second account.
  • Verify: Tap Verify. We will send a 5-digit PIN to that email address.
  • Enter the PIN: Once you enter the code, the system will detect that your email is already linked to another account.
  • Confirm Merge: You will see a prompt to “Merge Accounts.” Accept the prompt to combine your history and settings.

Success! Once merged, you can log in using either your phone number or your email to access the same unified account.
